Bid Manager - Belgium
Position: Bid Manager
Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Samuel Knight Energy are working with a well established client Head Quartered in Germany who are now looking hire a Bid Manager for their team in the Netherlands. The position will be based in Antwerp and you will play a crucial role in the concept and completeness of quotations, supporting the sale of technically sophisticated and complex products and services across a comprehensive sales area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and organize quotations, find technical and commercial solutions to meet customer expectations
- Develop technical concepts, clarify the project's scope and content
- Prepare preliminary costing and participate in price negotiations within established guidelines.
- Engage in contract negotiations and signing
- Coordinate regional bids between customers/agents and Product Centers.
- Manage bids for regional projects, maintaining important customer and supplier contacts
- Assist Sales in building strong customer relationships and follow up on the bidding process until contract conclusion.
- Conduct further contractual negotiations to clarify or adjust technical and commercial details
- Maintain product, market, and customer application knowledge by developing customer contacts during the bid processes.
- Create the final version of the order set and transfer the project to the project manager and his team.
- Comply with all internal rules, local legal obligations, and qualification rules.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Dutch (Mandatory; proficiency in German, French or Spanish is an Advantage
- A minimum of 5 years related experience, ideally within Turbomachinery
- Experience in Bid or Project Management in a multinational environment
- Drivers License B
- Turbomachinery background or Oil & Gas background/education
- Strong communication and negotiation experience
- Living within Antwerp or surrounding areas is a must.
Salary
- Gross yearly salary between €52,000-€89,000 depending on experience.
