Job Title: Compliance and Quality Specialist (Solar Projects)

Location: Milan, Italy

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Compliance and Quality Specialist to join a multinational Independent Power Producer (IPP) company based in Milan, Italy. This position will focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high-quality standards specifically within solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in the solar industry, along with proven experience in compliance management and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Continuity and Documentation Management:

    • Maintain digital databases and organize project documents to ensure smooth business operations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement lessons learned strategies to enhance business continuity for solar projects.
  • Compliance Assurance:

    • Assess and ensure compliance with permits, authorizations, and regulations governing solar energy projects.
    • Track activities and timelines with regulatory bodies including GSE, DSO, Terna, ARERA, and Customs specific to solar projects.
  • Quality Management System (QMS):

    • Collaborate with external consultants to develop and implement a robust Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to solar projects.
    • Establish procedures and protocols to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Handover and Authorization Management:

    • Facilitate seamless handover processes from solar project development to construction and operations phases.
    • Manage authorization transfers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during project transitions.
  • Internal Audit and Continuous Improvement:

    • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established procedures and regulations within solar projects.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.
