Our client, a growing industrial & utility-scale solar EPC, is looking for an Environmental Compliance Manager to join their team. As they expand their operations, the company will be tackling increasingly complex permitting, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements. This role will be integral in ensuring that projects are delivered in compliance with environmental standards and local regulations, particularly in the areas of stormwater prevention, wildlife conservation, and community impact.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee environmental compliance for all utility-scale solar projects, including compliance with permitting requirements, environmental impact studies, and site assessments.
• Collaborate with local authorities, environmental agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure all projects meet regulatory standards.
• Address permitting challenges and work closely with the project management team to navigate environmental hurdles.
• Develop and maintain environmental management systems, ensuring that all environmental procedures are consistently followed.
• Conduct site assessments to identify potential environmental concerns and propose mitigation measures.
• Manage environmental documentation and reports, ensuring all necessary records are maintained for compliance audits.
• Ensure all construction teams are educated on and adhere to environmental safety procedures.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in environmental compliance for utility-scale solar EPC projects.
• Deep understanding of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and compliance standards related to solar development.
• Experience managing environmental challenges on construction sites, including stormwater management and wildlife protection.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal environmental policies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
