I am currently partnered with a world-class, fully integrated infrastructure provider, who deliver expertise across the whole of the UK & Europe. 

They are now actively hiring a HSE Advisor (Austria). 

Specifics: 
Salary: 50,000.00 - 70,000.00 EUR

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to Managers and Supervisors to fulfill their duties regarding Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) in accordance with legislative requirements and company protocols.
  • Ensure implementation of HSEQ controls to promote awareness of statutory obligations among personnel and offer advice as needed.
  • Collaborate with site management teams to ensure compliance with Construction HSEQ Plans, offering support to project teams in plan development.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of sites to ensure adherence to Company Policy, Processes, and relevant Statutory Provisions.
  • Conduct site inductions and deliver necessary training sessions.
  • Lead and participate in accident/incident investigations, analyzing data and making recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Compile and review Business/Project HSEQ statistics for reporting purposes, identifying trends and proposing improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HSEQ campaigns and improvement plans in coordination with Management.
  • Review processes, documentation, and compliance levels.
  • Identify significant HSEQ issues for projects and assist in implementing appropriate controls.
  • Ensure acquisition of necessary HSEQ consents, permits, or exemptions, maintaining relevant records.
  • Support the Group Audit Programme and conduct internal and external audits as required.
  • Contribute to pre-qualification, tender, and HSEQ award submissions.
  • Exercise authority to halt work if HSEQ elements are in question, in agreement with Management.
  • Facilitate dissemination of HSEQ information to relevant employees.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ and other legal requirements.
  • Engage in team meetings, toolbox talks, and business meetings.
  • Participate in performance review processes and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Requirements: 
  • English Speaking & Comprehension
  • NEBOSH Construction/Certificate or Equivalent
  • Relevant Industry Membership (e.g., IOSH, IEMA, CQI)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Document Management Software
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging individuals
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Chartered Membership of IOS
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with Clients and Senior Managers
  • Excellent presentation, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills
