Investement Analyst (m/w/d)
A leading European renewable energy company is seeking an Investment Analyst — Renewable Energy Storage (m/w/d) to join their dynamic team in Hamburg.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of sustainable energy solutions, with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The Role:
As an Investment Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and developing BESS projects, particularly focusing on hybrid and collocated systems. You'll work closely with various departments to drive projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and evaluate business cases for BESS projects
- Manage project partnerships and oversee timelines, budgets, and milestones
- Identify new opportunities in the renewable energy sector
- Develop insights into photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy integration
- Support commercial negotiations and coordinate investment progress
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in renewable storage or related fields
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Fluency in German (B2) and English (C1)
- Passion for renewable energy and technology
- Willingness to travel
