We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to join our team in Sacramento, CA. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of solar energy projects. This role will involve collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for solar installations. Coordinate with project managers to ensure all tasks are on track.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project construction.
- Permitting and Compliance: Manage the permitting process, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained and that projects comply with local regulations and codes.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor and equipment, to meet project requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Provide regular project status updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Quality Control: Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and company quality requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks and issues proactively. Work with the team to develop mitigation plans.
- Budget Management: Assist in tracking project expenses and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Reporting: Generate project reports, including financial summaries, progress reports, and completion reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of previous experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably in the solar energy or construction industries for large-scale projects.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and EPC processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
