? Job Description: As a Project Developer, you will play a key role in our project development team. Working closely with the team, your main responsibility is to identify and evaluate potential renewable energy projects, particularly in the areas of solar energy and battery storage. You will be supported by experts in negotiating purchase and rental contracts as well as in applying for grid connections and building permits.


  • Identifying new suitable locations for renewable energy systems (solar/battery storage).
  • Finding and approaching relevant stakeholders at appropriate locations in your region.
  • Building relationships with real estate agents and community representatives.
  • Negotiating and concluding letters of intent with property owners or their representatives.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from the technical office on the application for grid connections/analyses and managing the process.
  • Creating business concepts for possible and concrete projects and communicating them to management for approval at the respective milestones.
  • Leading the legal process to secure option and lease agreements in collaboration with your colleagues.
  • Accompanying colleagues throughout the planning process, from the building permit to completion.
  • Tracking and documenting project progress and risks.
  • Preparing in-depth analyses and reports to management.
  • Managing the budget of your projects and driving them through the development process.


  • Experience or a strong interest in project development and planning of renewable energy plants.
  • Ideally, a degree in renewable energies, environmental protection, energy technology, or other relevant fields, or alternatively, corresponding technical training.
  • Enjoy traveling in your region.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to successfully build and maintain relationships.
  • Familiarity with your region and the local market, and the ability to engage with municipalities and property owners.
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of renewable energies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Class B driving license.
  • English skills to communicate easily with internal stakeholders.
