You will independently oversee all aspects of the business, from identifying opportunities to negotiating with stakeholders and engaging with local communities, collaborating closely with internal departments and resources.

Responsibilities

-Conduct targeted personal research or leverage data from the GIS Team to identify new and relevant sites involving both public and private stakeholders.
-Build and manage a network of land scouts and originators in Germany.
-Assess projects for potential integration into the EDP development process.
-Secure land by negotiating and executing lease agreements.
-Act as a representative of the company with local public and private entities, government services, and communities to introduce EDP initiatives and ensure project acceptance.
-Initiate environmental permitting procedures, collaborate with licensed planning offices, and expand internal resources to meet future needs and forecasts.

Qualification

-Degree from a School of Management or University
-Years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus on wind development in the DACH region.
-Strong origination skills and ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries.
-Years of experience in wind development or a related field involving project management with communities and navigating the German environmental permitting process.
-Experience in greenfield development paired with technical expertise in the wind sector.
-Proven problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach and a keen interest in renewable energy.
-Familiarity with the German regulatory landscape and bureaucratic processes.
-Effective communicator with landowners and C-level executives.
-Capable of managing multiple projects within specified timelines.
-Creating future opportunities within the framework established by the client
-Familiarity with BImSch Regulations, EEG, KraftNAV, and BESS is advantageous.
-Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and specific project management tools.
-Based in northern Germany.
-The client is planning an Office Hub to facilitate a blend of home office and the client office work.
-Fluency in German and English.
-Possession of an A2 driving license.
-Availability for travel within national territory.
-Representation of the client at fairs and conferences.
-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also capable of independent work.
-Strong presentation skills.
