To deliver optimal project opportunities and maximise the value of business partners' investments worldwide, the client seeks highly qualified, experienced, diligent, and passionate professionals to develop strategic solutions in:

- Business development and financing strategies.
- Full-service EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning).
- Robust O&M (Operations and Maintenance) capabilities.


Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new PV projects from inception to execution.
- Screen, filter, and select viable project opportunities.
- Lead deal structuring and commercial negotiations with developers and key market players for pipeline acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of commercial and contractual terms to ensure economic viability, including evaluating the business and financial model.
- Perform pre-feasibility studies and assessments for project opportunities.
- Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders (developers, authorities, landowners, grid operators, off-takers, advisors, etc.) to advance projects to ready-to-build status.
- Collaborate with local authorities, utility companies, private entities, financial institutions, funds, investors, and buyers to establish strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, Tax, and Finance teams, as well as external advisors, throughout project development and acquisition phases.
- Lead negotiations and finalise land contracts with landowners and public authorities.
- Prepare Financial and Business Memorandums (IC Memo) and oversee internal approval processes, providing Management Information and ensuring control throughout project stages (origination, development, construction, and sale).
- Stay updated on market developments and industry news to identify and capitalise on business opportunities promptly.


Qualification

- Extensive experience in renewable project development, particularly in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Knowledge of conventional generation projects and infrastructure projects in Germany is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of the German PV sector, including specific regulations, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), merchant schemes, and significant experience in developing large-scale, medium, and small solar PV projects.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and finalise commercial transactions with landlords, developers, equity partners, and end consumers, including due diligence, acquisitions, joint ventures (JVs), contract negotiations (SPA, EPC Contracts), and obtaining necessary permits and licenses for solar projects.
- Profound knowledge of the permitting processes and regulatory landscape in Germany.
- Experience working in multinational environments and navigating complex organisational structures.
- Experience in project engineering would be beneficial.
