This client is a dynamic and innovative company establishing its roots in Germany with the robust financial backing of its esteemed parent company based in Spain. Their venture into the German market combines the excitement of a start-up with the unwavering stability derived from substantial monetary support. The client boasts a substantial pipeline of projects ranging from 200 MW to 400 MW. With strategic foresight, they have plans for expansion in 2024 and 2025.

Role
-Provide comprehensive support and active oversight across all facets of project development, encompassing activities such as site inspection and acquisition, land use planning, approval procedures, contract management, grid connection management, due diligence, and more.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for the entire project development, liaising with key stakeholders including authorities, political officials, property owners, tenants, local residents, network operators, and service providers.
-Coordinate the security of project areas, including drafting negotiations for usage contracts, offering support in and monitoring of contract negotiations, and overseeing the examination and acceptance of signed open space usage contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
-Assist the approval team by engaging and coordinating external partners in land use, environmental, and approval planning, contributing to the creation of project-relevant planning services.
-Represent the company and actively participate in project-specific information events and municipal council meetings.
-Proactively identify project risks, develop effective solutions, and initiate measures to minimise risks.
-Participate in tenders under the framework of the Renewable Energy Sources Act.
-Maintain continuous awareness of the commercial framework for photovoltaic and battery storage projects in the respective project development regions in Germany.

Qualification
-Completed university studies are desirable, along with initial work experience in the development of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, battery storage, and/or wind turbines.
-Proficiency in tools and apps commonly used for project development, such as GIS, is expected.
-Demonstrated interest in renewable energies and a strong motivation to contribute to the implementation and acceleration of the energy transition.
-Excellent rhetorical skills, sociability, and pronounced empathy are essential.
-Demonstrates a highly structured, largely independent, and conscientious approach, along with a goal- and result-oriented way of working.
-Flexibility, spontaneity, and a willingness to travel are important aspects of the role within project development.
-Experienced in handling common MS Office applications.
-Very good knowledge of German and at least a good command of English are necessary.
-Possession of a Class B driver's license is mandatory.
