As a leader of the Solar PV Engineering team, you will contribute to developing solar PV engineering solutions to clients who seek technical excellence, innovative and cost-effective PV solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Define project standards and technical solutions to optimize the lifetime cost of all plants (design, installation, and maintenance), ensuring expected performance.
- Coordinate and support the design activities (definitive and executive).
- Coordinate the design of new plants, assisting the Business Development Department in evaluating new projects for development while ensuring alignment with corporate project standards and technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with permits and authorizations for plant interventions.
- Answering to technical bids for commercial and utility-scale PV projects, including interconnections solutions.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain project estimation costing and to reach competitive solutions.
- Relevant degree/qualification (preferably Electrical Engineering).
- At least 3 years of previous experience in technical PV engineering functions with knowledge of the renewable energy sector, especially photovoltaics.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; Spanish is a plus;
- Experience using PVSyst.
- Proactive attitude and motivation for the offered role.
