Location: Remote in Germany but must travel 50% to Hamburg

As a valued member of their multinational team, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact. Join them in their risk management team of their solar parks, independently manage projects in renewable energies, and contribute to the success of the energy transition. Your key responsibilities include:
- Portfolio Management: Manage expanding Solar and Wind portfolio in evolving energy markets, providing insights on risks and opportunities.
- Quantitative Analysis: Support Energy Risk Management and other departments with quantitative analysis for hedging and investment decisions across various European markets.
- Process Optimisation: Actively contribute to improving and developing Energy Risk Management monitoring, reporting, and processes.
- Risk Coordination: Coordinate risk management activities, perform reviews, and engage in discussions with responsible management.
- Collaboration: Ensure strong cooperation within project teams on all matters related to risk management.


- Academic Background: Hold an academic degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics, or equivalent.
- Passionate: Demonstrate a passion for the energy transition and renewables.
- Work Experience: Ideally, possess 3-5 years of work experience, with practical experience in Origination/Trading/Risk Management departments as a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly understand complex matters and communicate quantitative insights in understandable terms.
- Communication Skills: Confidently engage external and internal stakeholders and advise business leaders.
- Data Analysis: Experience in data analysis using R/Python/Matlab is advantageous.
- Language Skills: Very good language skills in German and English are required.
