Managing Quantity Surveyor (Royston Area)

Day to day
 
- Maintain project pipeline and order book
- Develop and sustain relationships with clients
- Ensure all commercial activities are conducted ethically while maintaining a competitive position for the client
- Accurately report project forecasting on a monthly basis
- Ensure precise month-end CVR reporting
- Review and manage risks and opportunities
- Maintain cash flow
- Manage supply chain procurement
- Manage and mentor the team
- Conduct monthly commercial and health check reporting
- Fulfill any other reasonable requests as required by management
- Uphold the client's company core values in all behaviours and daily activities

Key Role Deliverables
- Proficient in IT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess or currently pursuing a relevant professional qualification
- Degree qualification or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years of commercial experience
- Professional qualification

Qualifications
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting contractual deadlines
- Strong time management skills and flexibility for planning and prioritizing tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to manage and monitor risk
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Skilled in managing and developing teams, and effective at motivating and building cohesive teams
