The Samuel Knight team are excited to partner with one of the leading Solar EPC's in the pursuit of travelling Solar Civil Superintendents for multiple sites in TX, LA and MS.
We are looking for those who have, ideally, worked on utility-scale Solar projects from breaking ground through to the installation of piles (site grading, trenching/ backfill, fencing, excavation etc). Although you will be overseeing the work of a sub-contractor, you must be on-site as a representative and be able to answer any complex, technical questions.
You will receive a very competitive base salary, per diem and overall package in comparison to the market average.

Communication and Coordination
- Support the Superintendent in effectively conveying expectations and guidelines to subcontractors and staff
- Ensure clear communication regarding schedules, construction techniques, company policies, permitting, safety protocols, quality standards, and performance metrics
- Develop and implement comprehensive work schedules
- Devise and execute strategies to maintain project timelines
- Monitor work quality in designated project areas
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to safeguard project site and company assets
- Oversee management of contracts, subcontractor documents, and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Maintain a safe work environment through implementation of robust safety programs
- Implement and oversee quality control measures
- Perform additional tasks as required by project needs or management
