Solar PV Project Developer
Location: Cork or Ireland remote
An IPP client which is a leading independent power producer of utility-scale photovoltaic power plants, invests, builds, and operates renewable energy power plants globally, including in France, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Jordan, Egypt, Singapore, and Oman. Committed to harnessing solar energy, our client has a proven track record of delivering over 2,000 successful solar PV projects in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Take direct responsibility for overseeing the development of solar projects in Ireland
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with landowners, grid networks, and planning authorities.
- Ensure that development tools such as project trackers and risk registers are regularly updated and maintained.
- Provide weekly reports on project updates, progress, and any significant issues to the Managing Director
- Explore innovative approaches to overcome technical, political, or planning challenges that may impede project development.
- Offer guidance and support to junior members of the Irish development team.
- Assist the origination team in maintaining a consistent flow of projects through the development pipeline.
- Work closely with the other stakeholders to stay informed about the latest policy and regulation developments, and provide advice on their potential impact on project delivery.
- Support project sales processes or the smooth transfer of projects to the construction team.
Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree
-Solar PV Development experience
-Stakeholder management experience
-Irish market experience in required
