Our client, an ambitious and growing industrial & utility-scale solar EPC, is looking for a Mechanical Foreman to oversee the mechanical construction and installation of solar projects. This role will be essential in leading and managing the mechanical scope of projects ranging from 20MW to 75MW, with opportunities to grow into larger projects as the company expands.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the mechanical construction team on utility-scale solar projects, ensuring timely and quality completion of work.
• Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including mounting structures and solar racking systems.
• Ensure all mechanical construction activities are completed in compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other project teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with electrical and civil components.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction standards are being met and address any issues as they arise.
• Report project progress to senior management and address any challenges to keep projects on schedule.

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience as a Mechanical Foreman in utility-scale solar projects, with a proven track record of leading large mechanical construction teams.
• Knowledge of the installation of solar racking systems and other mechanical components.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality control, and scheduling requirements for large-scale solar projects.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
