Iberdrola to acquire remaining 18.4% of Avangrid in $2.6B deal

In a $2.6 billion deal Iberdrola is set to acquire full ownership of Avangrid, its publicly-traded American subsidiary, approved by both companies’ boards this month, according to a news release on Friday. Iberdrola, which currently owns 81.6% of Avangrid, will buy the remaining 18.4% for $35.75 per share.
