On Target for Record Year as Business Reports Increased Headcount and Expansion of Operational Bases
Sector specific manpower and recruitment provider – Newcastle headquartered Samuel Knight International – is set to hit over £25million for the first time in the company’s history after experiencing significant growth.
The agency which specialises in renewable energy and sustainable transport – and which boasts seven international offices – is set to increase turnover by 28% as it places over 100 staff per month in energy transition roles across the globe.
The forecast comes on the back of significant investment in new staff and the opening of a new office in Dallas.
Speaking about the growth, founder and CEO, Steve Rawlinson said: “2023 has been a fantastic year for the business and we are delighted to be on course to pass over £25million in fees, recruiting 15 new members of staff in the process – with a further five to recruit by the end of the year - and investing heavily in operational bases.
“We’ve seen record growth across all our specialist divisions and expect this to only continue as the energy transition space continues to grow at a phenomenal pace.”
Steve continued: “Samuel Knight International is very different to other manpower and recruitment providers. We only work in renewable energy and sustainable transport and, with that, comes a wealth of knowledge from our consultants, all of whom have worked in these industries for a considerable amount of time.
“Alongside that, we do things very differently to other agencies. At the heart of the business is a passion to work in partnership with our global community to help achieve net zero and close out any skill gaps in the energy transition space. All our placements are founded on helping companies achieve exactly that objective.”
Samuel Knight International was established in 2014 and since then has opened offices in the UK, Europe and the United States.
The business was formed purely to service the renewable energy and sustainable transport industries and – as far as the business is aware – is the only manpower and recruitment consultancy of its kind in the UK.
The last three years has seen Sameul Knight International move its headquarters into a new, state of the art 12,000sq ft premises – equipped with inhouse gym, bar and recreational areas - located in the heart of Newcastle and has also seen the opening of a Dallas office which successful achieved a turnover of $10.7 million in only seven months of trading.
The business is aiming to be 100% owned by its employees and - as its purpose -champions achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 through the support of community initiatives and programmes that drive green and environmentally friendly initiatives.
