Solar Skills London offers training grants
Companies have until 14 January to apply for support to upskill employees in PV and energy storage.
Eligible companies can now apply for up to £1000 of funding to support employee training on solar, energy storage and low-carbon technologies, as part of the Solar Skills London initiative.
Solar Skills London intends to develop a solar PV learner curriculum, create a series of introductory workshops for potential new solar industry trainees.
Solar Skills London is an initiative set by Solar Energy UK and the Mayor of London in 2021 to support London’s contribution to clean energy in the UK.
The Mayor of London is targeting 1GW of solar deployment by the end of the decade, which could provide enough power to run over half a million electric vehicles annually.
