CEO Sleepout

On March 23rd, Samuel Knights' senior management team, comprising Steven Rawlingson, Lisa Whitwell, John White, and Carl Moffett, participated in the CEO Sleepout event held at St. James Park in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This charitable event brings together local business leaders who spend a memorable night outdoors, under the stars, in their efforts to combat homelessness.

These individuals, joined by other esteemed local business leaders, selflessly dedicated their night to sleeping outside, foregoing the comfort of their own beds, all in the name of raising funds for the local community. The proceeds from this event directly contribute to assisting families and individuals facing homelessness, who are less fortunate. This noble initiative aims to address the urgent issue of homelessness in the North East, where the current count stands at over 1,100 homeless individuals, including 360 children, contributing to the alarming total of 271,000 homeless people in England.

To show their support for the Senior Management team, the entire Samuel Knight office also took part in their own sponsored sleep-in. They spent 24 hours working together in the office, with one team member going the extra mile by cycling for a full 24 hours to further bolster the cause and raise funds.

Collectively, Samuel Knight is deeply committed to making a significant difference in the lives of those impacted by homelessness, ensuring a brighter future for the local community.
