HSE Manager - Europe
Samuel Knight are currently supporting a renewable giant with HSE Advisors across various EU countries throughout 2024 for a number of onshore windfarms.
Role Responsibilities:
- As an HSE Advisor, you will be the client representative on site, promoting a Zero Harm Culture and leading by example. Staying up to date with HSE legislation and SGRE's internal procedures, I ensure all mandatory and role-specific trainings are completed before the project begins.
- To prepare the site, you will print out the HSE Plan, Risk Assessments, Emergency Response plan, and environmental assessments. Additionally, you establish and maintain an HSE notice board to post relevant communications as per the HSE Plan.
- Finalize the HSE site induction material in order to cover every feature of the project.
- Facilitate site HSE inductions for personnel planning to work and visit site.
- Perform an HSE Talk at the beginning of every work shift as part of the daily briefing / morning meeting
Competencies:
- Experience of working as an HSE Advisor within the Wind Industry for 3 years
- Internationally recognized HSE certification and qualification required. (i.e. NEBOSH Construction, NVQ5, NEBOSH Diploma, BSc Hons.) (UKIE specific - Significant knowledge of CDM / PSCS regulations).
- Driver’s license for car needed, valid in the project’s country.
