Your Role
As an Investment Associate – Renewable Storage, you will contribute to the successful development and management of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, particularly hybridized and co-located systems. You will take ownership of business case analysis, project management, and stakeholder coordination while driving forward new opportunities in renewable energy storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the business cases of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with a focus on hybrid and co-located projects, considering electricity market dynamics across Europe.

• Manage project partners in relation to development timelines, milestones, and budgets from early stage through to ready-to-build.

• Develop an understanding of the synergies between BESS, solar PV, and wind assets.

• Identify new business and development opportunities and support commercial negotiations with potential partners.

• Coordinate development and investment progress across internal departments.

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance or Engineering with strong analytical and technical foundations.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the renewable energy storage sector, ideally within project development, construction, or electricity trading.

• Strong intercultural competence and ability to work effectively in multinational settings.

• Fluent in both German and English.

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.

• Open to business travel and flexible in working arrangements.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
