Project Manager – Major HV Projects (m/f/d)
Norfolk | Permanent | 33kV & 132kV Connections
We are partnering with a specialist HV contractor delivering complex high-voltage infrastructure and private network projects across the UK. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of major connections and installations at 33kV and 132kV, managing all aspects from planning through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Manage major high-voltage projects involving new connections and installations

Serve as the main technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders

Develop detailed programmes of works and manage resources accordingly

Define project deliverables, material requirements, and subcontractor scopes

Lead the preparation of RAMS, job instructions, and work packages
-
Coordinate technicians, craftspeople, and subcontractors on-site
-
Conduct performance reviews and oversee quality inspections
-
Manage project change, risk, and budget controls
-
Ensure compliance with safety and technical regulations across all works

Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring delivery expectations are met
Ideal Background
-
HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (ideally Power Distribution)
-
Project delivery experience within Private Networks and/or Renewable Energy at 33kV and 132kV
-
Strong knowledge of current health & safety legislation

Experience managing technical field teams and subcontractors

Ability to interpret technical diagrams and documentation

Proven problem-solver with strong organisational and planning capabilities

Excellent communication and decision-making skills
