Director, Data Center Construction Quality – Mission Critical
We’re seeking a Director of Data Center Construction Quality – Mission Critical to join a fast-growing, innovative energy and infrastructure company. This is an opportunity to work with high-caliber professionals on large-scale, technically advanced data center projects while helping shape the future of reliable and sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead developer-wide quality strategy and governance for mission-critical projects
• Oversee vendor and supply chain quality, including audits and performance benchmarks
• Drive design phase QA, ensuring alignment with Basis of Design and project requirements
• Manage construction quality control, including inspections, audits, and root-cause analysis
• Ensure commissioning and turnover processes meet operational standards from NTP to COD
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
• 12+ years in quality, engineering, commissioning, or construction leadership for data centers or mission-critical infrastructure
• Proven experience managing EPCs, designers, and hyperscale clients
• Strong expertise in mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems, redundancy architectures, and commissioning methodologies
• PE license or quality/commissioning certifications preferred
Location: California or Texas preferred, but exceptional candidates nationwide will be considered
Compensation: Up to $220k base plus excellent benefits
