Overall Role:
You will provide and support a full control room operation in a 24-hour response environment. By using advanced monitoring systems, you'll collaborate closely with Plant Managers to ensure maintenance tickets are handled efficiently and that all interventions are successfully completed. Your goal: to keep solar assets operating at their best. This is an office-based role.
Responsibilities:
Monitor PV Plant Components & Performance:

Continuously monitor real-time PV plant performance via dashboards and detect KPI deviations

Track status, alerts, and errors generated by onsite components
-
Respond to automatic alarms from SCADA and monitoring systems

Troubleshoot remotely and take appropriate action, including creating tickets and assigning work orders

Coordinate with maintenance providers and escalate unresolved issues to Plant Managers

Ensure timely updates and documentation for all tickets and interventions
Alarm Setup & Optimization:

Debug false alarms and adjust alarm criteria

Identify and correct missing alarms through system analysis and configuration
-
Optimize alarm generation for system accuracy and reliability
Operational Oversight & Documentation:

Manage switching orders, evaluate operating data, and ensure comprehensive event documentation

Identify and implement improvements to monitoring tools and procedures using the PDCA cycle
Security Monitoring:

Respond to and report CCTV and alarm events
-
Take action in case of intrusions or unusual activity

Remotely manage and troubleshoot security systems

Perform regular quality checks of the entire security chain
Data Review & Quality Checks:

Verify data completeness, fill gaps, and correct calculations with support from Plant Managers and Data Engineers

Identify performance trends and collaborate on technical solutions

Validate and correct static data with support from relevant stakeholders
Qualifications (Recommended):

Background in electrical engineering and/or relevant PV operations experience

Confident communicator with strong analytical skills

Experience working in a matrix or project-based organization
Additional Qualifications:

Technical degree or equivalent practical experience

Experience in PV system monitoring and troubleshooting

Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools

Understanding of security systems and infrastructure

Excellent problem-solving and documentation abilities

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
