What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare and review cost estimates across all project stages, ensuring alignment with technical designs, scope, and market rates

Work closely with engineers to assess specifications and resolve any technical or scope-related queries

Present cost estimates, comparisons, and risk-adjusted scenarios to leadership teams for informed decision-making

Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely approvals

Analyse project risks and apply appropriate contingency within estimates

Provide technical support and cost insight across engineering and delivery teams
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to tick every box — but we’re after someone with:

A degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil), or relevant trade background with proven industry experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimating within the electrical transmission and distribution sector (essential)

Proficiency in industry-standard estimating tools and methods

A strong understanding of transmission system infrastructure

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
