Estimator – Electricity Transmission Projects (m/f/d)

We're on the lookout for a skilled Estimator to support the delivery of major electricity transmission projects. If you're passionate about accuracy, collaboration, and bringing energy projects to life, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on Australia’s cleaner future.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and review cost estimates across all project stages, ensuring alignment with technical designs, scope, and market rates

  • Work closely with engineers to assess specifications and resolve any technical or scope-related queries

  • Present cost estimates, comparisons, and risk-adjusted scenarios to leadership teams for informed decision-making

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely approvals

  • Analyse project risks and apply appropriate contingency within estimates

  • Provide technical support and cost insight across engineering and delivery teams


What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to tick every box — but we’re after someone with:

  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil), or relevant trade background with proven industry experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimating within the electrical transmission and distribution sector (essential)

  • Proficiency in industry-standard estimating tools and methods

  • A strong understanding of transmission system infrastructure

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
