Project Developer – PV & Agri-PV (m/f/d)
Location: Wiesbaden, Germany
Type: Permanent | Hybrid Working (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

We are working with a fast-growing renewable energy business backed by a well-established European group, currently expanding its project development team in Germany. With over 1 GW of solar PV already installed and ambitious targets to reach 7 GW by 2030, this is an exciting time to get involved.

The German office was set up in 2023 and is now scaling its internal capabilities — with a strong focus on greenfield development across utility-scale PV and Agri-PV. This is a great opportunity to join a small, international team in Wiesbaden and play a key role in building the future of solar in Germany.

The Role
As Project Developer, you will be responsible for driving PV and Agri-PV projects from concept to construction readiness. You’ll work closely with landowners, authorities, and internal teams to assess project viability, manage timelines, and push developments through the permitting process.

Responsibilities

  • Independent development of open-field PV and Agri-PV projects

  • Evaluation of new sites and coordination of feasibility studies

  • Negotiations with stakeholders including landowners and authorities

  • Collaboration with legal, technical and commercial teams (including colleagues in France)

  • Managing external consultants and overseeing approval processes

  • Monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring projects are aligned

  • Quality, cost, and schedule control for your assigned projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in greenfield PV project development in Germany

  • Understanding of land acquisition, permitting, and regulatory approval processes

  • Background in renewable energies, urban or landscape planning, or engineering

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Confident working in a small team with an international dynamic

  • Proficiency in both German and English

  • Familiarity with GIS/CAD is a plus

  • You are based in or near Wiesbaden and can work 4 days/week in the office

What’s on Offer

  • Company car (subject to agreement)

  • Parking space and EV charging on site

  • Dynamic, start-up style culture with international collaboration

  • Modern office space in Wiesbaden city centre

  • Flexible working hours and family-friendly policies

  • Regular employee events and ongoing exchange with teams across Europe
