We are looking for an experienced Energy Storage Business Developer to take ownership of utility-scale battery storage projects (BESS) in Germany. Work independently, contribute to challenging projects, and collaborate with a motivated international team, all while growing your career in renewable energy.
Do you have several years of experience in energy storage project development, including at least 2 years in battery storage (BESS)? Are you skilled in creating innovative storage solutions and capable of managing a project from initial concept to construction readiness? Perfect — we want to hear from you!
A Master’s degree in Energy/Electrical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is ideal, but we are also interested in motivated professionals ready to make an impact.

Your Responsibilities

Develop utility-scale battery storage projects until Ready-to-Build milestone, including collaboration with external development entities

Maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including grid operators, authorities, landowners, and the public

Manage projects under co-development agreements with local partners

Support local PV development teams by integrating storage solutions into existing and new renewable assets

Conduct high-level site analysis and support due diligence processes for project acquisitions

Monitor regulatory changes and market reforms in Germany for battery storage; contribute to estimating revenue streams considering wholesale markets, ancillary services, and regulatory mechanisms

Coordinate the local German business team with technical teams and engineering offices across Europe
