- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
- Oversee project designs, focusing on solar energy layouts and engineering solutions.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in PVSyst, ensuring high-quality project execution.
- Collaborate with operations teams to meet project delivery milestones.
- Expand engineering services within the renewable energy sector.
- Represent the team in client meetings, contributing to business development and project bidding.
- Drive team culture by ensuring an energetic and inspiring work environment.
- Manage and optimize solar site layouts and engineering plans.
- Conduct PVSyst analyses to assess project feasibility and performance.
- Coordinate with project management and construction teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide technical input during the bidding process for new projects.
- Inspire and guide a team of engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and development.
- Monitor project progress and address engineering challenges proactively.
- Proven expertise in PVSyst as a technical specialist.
- Engineering background in renewable energy, solar development, or similar industries (EPC, consultancy, or developer experience welcomed).
- Leadership abilities with a strong, extroverted personality and natural aptitude for team mentorship.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing solar energy projects.
- Ability to travel to Houston approximately two weeks per month for in-office collaboration (expenses covered).
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and inspire teams.
