Senior Electrical Project Manager

Location: Arizona

Position Summary

The Senior Electrical Project Manager leads multiple projects and provides direction to project managers and supporting teams. The role carries responsibility for portfolio performance, project controls, client relationships, staffing, field coordination, safety, and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple electrical construction projects and project teams.

  • Review project budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement, and staffing.

  • Lead project reviews and establish corrective actions when required.

  • Coach and develop project managers, engineers, and support personnel.

  • Review major contracts, purchases, change requests, and commercial risks.

  • Partner with field leadership on labor planning and productivity.

  • Maintain senior-level relationships with clients and construction partners.

  • Support design-build coordination and constructability reviews.

  • Monitor safety, quality, commissioning, and closeout performance.

  • Communicate portfolio status and risk to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Seven to ten or more years of electrical construction project leadership.

  • Experience managing several projects or a complex project portfolio.

  • Demonstrated responsibility for project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering and field construction.

  • Advanced knowledge of budgets, forecasting, contracts, schedules, and change management.

  • Construction Management or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician credentials are beneficial.

  • Design-build experience preferred.

Working Conditions

This is an in-person position combining office and active project site responsibilities. Local and regional project travel may be required.
