QUALITY MANAGER - DATA CENTER MISSION CRITICAL

I am representing an established Texas general contractor with a growing mission critical division delivering data center projects across the state. They are looking for a Quality Manager to ensure their data center builds are delivered to plan, to specification and to standard. This is a senior project engineering-level role with a dedicated focus on quality.

The Role

• Ensure all construction work conforms to approved plans and specifications
• Manage the submittal process, making sure submittals are reviewed and approved by the architect/engineer
• Develop and maintain submittal logs and a complete record of approvals and documentation
• Manage the RFI process
• Track procurement, manufacturing and delivery of materials against the project schedule
• Inspect delivered materials for quantity, quality and compliance with contract documents
• Work closely with the project team so all work meets contract and design requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2 - 5 years of combined field and office experience with a general contractor
• Strong track record managing submittals, RFIs and quality inspections
• Data center or mission critical exposure is a strong advantage
• Organized, detail focused and a clear communicator
• Construction management software experience
