With over 25 years of experience and a strong international footprint, the company develops and manages sustainable energy infrastructure projects including solar, wind, hydro, and battery storage across Germany, Finland, and Canada.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and dynamic organisation driving the energy transition forward. You will be part of a collaborative, mid-sized team with offices across Europe and North America, and will take ownership of renewable energy projects from early-stage development through to construction readiness.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, and battery storage) through to the ready-to-build stage.

  • Manage site visits and engage with landowners, municipalities, and local authorities.

  • Oversee permitting and approval processes, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and negotiate contractual agreements with confidence.

  • Present projects to local officials and political representatives to gain project support.

  • Work closely with legal, communications, and technical teams to support planning documentation and submission.

Your Profile

  • Degree or equivalent training in a technical, commercial, or planning-related discipline (e.g., renewable energy, engineering, business administration, urban planning).

  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects (PV or wind); experience with battery storage systems is a plus.

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience.

  • Proficiency in German (C1+) is essential; other languages are a plus.

  • Skilled in MS Office and familiar with project management methodologies and tools.

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.

  • Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel within Germany.

What’s Offered

  • Contribute directly to impactful renewable energy projects

  • A company with more than 25 years of success in the clean energy sector

  • Flat hierarchies, pragmatic workflows, and freedom to take ownership

  • Competitive salary package

  • Permanent employment contract

  • Hybrid working options

  • Ongoing professional development

  • Public transport subsidy or job bike scheme

Important Note
Applicants must hold a valid work permit for Germany and be fluent in German. Unfortunately, applications without these criteria may not be considered.
